The WA Land Administration Act 1997 deals with easements at various places. This can be seen below:
- Easements in class A reserves (s 44)
- Overlapping between leases or easements and mining tenements (s 90)
- Minister may grant easements (s 144)
- Cancellation of easements (s 145)
- Easements to subsist (s 146)
- Easements in gross in respect of Crown land (s 147)
- Easements over conditional tenure land (s 148)
- Easements in anticipation of acquisition of fee simple (s 149)
- Cancellation of easements no longer serving any purpose (s 150)
- Easements over lands designated for public works (s 193)
- Easements in gross may be made generally in favour of the State etc. (s 195)
- Creation of public access easements (s 196)
- Minister may agree to grant easements in lieu of compensation or purchase-money (s 255); and
- Court may award easements in lieu of compensation (s 256).
